Still housed in the Media Center, Early Birds has been refreshed for the 2025–26 school year! Research shows that starting the day with physical activity can boost focus, memory, and overall readiness to learn. This program blends movement and mindfulness to help students start their day energized and centered. Each morning begins with fun, active games and movement activities. For students who prefer a calmer start, quiet brain games will also be available. We wrap up the last 15 minutes with slower-paced movement, such as yoga or gentle stretching, so every child heads to class feeling focused, calm, and ready to learn.

✅ A convenient option for families
Early Birds is a great fit for students with siblings participating in other before-school programs—such as Early Morning Orchestra, Band, or Morning Enrichment. It’s also an ideal solution for working parents who need to start their day before the 8:30 AM first bell. With Early Birds, kids get a healthy, active start to the day—while families get a little extra breathing room in the morning.
