Other OGS Green Schools Initiatives

Anti-Idling Campaign:
Did you know that idling vehicles contribute to air pollution and emit air toxins shown to be at
elevated levels during drop-off and pick-up periods around school zones? Children's lungs are
still developing and when exposed to higher levels of pollutants they have an increased risk of
developing respiratory problems and other health issues. To help reduce exposure and
preserve a cleaner environment, OGS Green Schools periodically conducts anti-idling
awareness campaigns. However, please help our community by not idling.

OGS “New Dolphin” Yard Signs:
If you would like to keep your sign to show your Dolphin Pride all year long, please do so!
However, if you do not wish to keep your sign, Please contact ogsgreenschools@gmail.com and we can pick it up from your yard to be re-used in the future.

Halloween Costume Swaps:
Save your old costumes for the annual costume swap on the plaza at the beginning of October.
Feel free to drop off costumes, take a costume or both. You do not need to provide a costume in
order to take one.
