OGS Summer Reading & LEARNING
This year we are asking families to read some suggested title(s) by grade level. Families are encouraged to either read independently or aloud as a family. The book selections are based on your child's rising grade level (grade level next year). Incoming Kindergarteners are encouraged to explore 3-5 alphabet books. All other students are asked to pick one of the books suggested. The Battle of the Books (BotB) selections are for all 5th graders to read. The 5th grade teachers are asking all students to read the BOB selection entitled The Misfits: A Royal Conundrum by Lisa Yee and Dan Santat.
